The governor of the state presides over a joyous celebration marking the 64th anniversary of the December 11, 1960 protests.
- The governor of the province and the accompanying delegation from the civil and military provincial authorities and the revolutionary family were received by the university director, Professor Nourredine Ben Ali El Cherif, along with his administrative team and the director of university services, Hicham Hachichi.
The Jirfi Mubarak Lecture Hall hosted the event, which was attended by a large audience of professors, students, and guests. The university director opened the event, welcoming everyone and highlighting the importance of the occasion.
- The event included a poetry reading by Dr. poet Abdullah Issa Lahailah and an intervention by Dr. Al-Essani Bilal.
Partnership and cooperation agreements were signed between the university and the Directorate of Commerce, the National Grain Office, the Technical Landfill Center, and Brilex.
- The event was also an opportunity to appreciate the various successes and achievements that the University of Jijel has accomplished and continues to achieve.
- Honoring the children of the revolutionary family at the University of Jijel.
- The Center for Technology and Innovation Support (CATI), winner of the National Innovation Salon Award.
- Honoring researchers with more than 1000 citations of their scientific publications.
- Distribution of internship completion regulations for newly employed teachers.
- Regulations for professors to benefit from housing.
- Certificates of appreciation and recognition for outstanding employees.
- Awarding prizes to the two winning teams of the November 1st football tournament.
The event concluded with a word of thanks from the university director to all the participants for making this remarkable activity a success.

The University of Mohamed Seddiq Ben Yahya Jijel was able to seize first place nationally in the 14th edition of the National Innovation Salon organized by the National Institute of Industrial Property (INAPI) and the Academy of the World Intellectual Property Organization, whose activities took place at the University of Constantine 3.
The project was registered through the Center for Technology and Innovation Support of the University of Jijel (CATI) in 2024 and was completed by a multidisciplinary work team

Opening of the celebration of World Entrepreneurship Week
Students and professors of Jijel University make the event with a great presence..
The celebration hosted by the Hall and Space of the Administrative District was supervised by Mr. Wali of the State and included a diverse exhibition of various sectors related to the subject of entrepreneurship lectures and interventions.
The University of Jijel, which was strongly present of more than 1,000 students, male and female, and many professors, university facade officials, and the administrative staff, headed by the University Rector, Professor Noureddine Ben Ali Cherif, occupied an important part of the exhibition by presenting the innovations of its professors and students, and Professor Mohamed Salamna, Director of the Entrepreneurship Development Center, presented an important lecture on the subject.
The spaces of the University of Jijel at its two poles will witness on this occasion a rich program of interventions, training courses and workshops for the benefit of its students for a whole week.

The Governor of the state supervises the official opening of the academic year 2024/2025 in the presence of the state authorities and the university family, professors, employees and students, led by the University Rector, Professor Nouredine ben Ali Asharif.
The celebration coincided with the celebration of all university institutions across the country that participated in the live broadcast of the intervention of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Kamal Badari, which was tagged with the title “The Algerian University... Creator of the Possible.”
This event at the University of Jijel included, in addition to the speech of the Minister, a welcome speech by the University Rector, in which he reviewed the reality and developments of the University of Jijel. A model lesson was also presented by Professor Malit Adel on renewable energies, a professor who was recently included by the American Stanford University among the 2%.
