The University of Jijel, in both its pedagogical and social aspects, in coordination with the Directorate of Mujahideen and Rights Holders of Jijel Province, commemorates the sixty-ninth anniversary of Student Day.
A large and noble delegation of military and civilian authorities, along with members of the revolutionary family, led by the governor of the province, arrives at Jijel University.
- The delegation was received by Professor Nourredine Ben Ali Al Sharif, the university director, along with his administrative team and the university community in all its forms, including students, professors, and staff.
A joyful atmosphere witnessed in the university space, created by the students with their creativity and excellence in studies, theater, singing, performances, and sports...
- "Memories of the Past" is a national epic brilliantly produced by the students of Ben Nasser Beshir University Residence, with honors for outstanding students and winners in karate, judo, and football tournaments and championships.

The Grand Lecture Hall Jirfi Mubarak
The University of Jijel commemorates the eightieth anniversary of the May 8, 1945 massacres by organizing a national conference titled "Crimes of the French Occupation in the Balance of Justice."
The event was inaugurated under the supervision of the governor of the province, accompanied by a significant delegation of civil and military authorities and members of the revolutionary family. The forum, which was inaugurated by the university director, Professor Nourredine Ben Ali Cherif, was initiated by the Faculty of Law and Political Science with the participation of numerous researchers from various universities across the country.
- The guest of honor at the celebration was Professor Mohamed Al-Hadi Al-Husseini, who delivered a speech in front of a large audience of university family members and their guests.
The opening ceremony included honorary gestures for the guest professor as well as for Professor Nakhoul Bachir on the occasion of his promotion to Distinguished Professor, and also for Professor Saleh Bouchair, who could not attend due to his contribution of a thousand titles to the university library.

Saturday, February 15, 2025:
Mr. Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Kamal Badari, on an inspection visit to the University of Jijel.
The Minister, accompanied by an important ministerial delegation, and the Governor of the province along with the provincial authorities, were received by the University Director, Professor Nourredine Ben Ali Cherif, at the head of his administrative team, university professors, researchers, and students represented by the Deputy Directors, Deans of the faculties, heads of departments, union representatives, and students.
The visit included a rich program starting by the presentation by the university director of a technical map of the university, followed by a visit to a diverse exhibition of innovations by professors and students, then a visit to the training hall of the Entrepreneurship Development Center, followed by the inauguration of an audiovisual recording studio at the Faculty of Human Sciences and the launch of the construction of 10 research laboratories.
- The ministerial delegation moved to the Jijel University campus, where they inaugurated the business incubator, inspecting its activities, and then visited the pedagogical laboratories of the medical annex to review the workflow and some scientific equipment that the annex has been equipped with, foremost among which is the advanced dissection table

The governor of the state presides over a joyous celebration marking the 64th anniversary of the December 11, 1960 protests.
- The governor of the province and the accompanying delegation from the civil and military provincial authorities and the revolutionary family were received by the university director, Professor Nourredine Ben Ali El Cherif, along with his administrative team and the director of university services, Hicham Hachichi.
The Jirfi Mubarak Lecture Hall hosted the event, which was attended by a large audience of professors, students, and guests. The university director opened the event, welcoming everyone and highlighting the importance of the occasion.
- The event included a poetry reading by Dr. poet Abdullah Issa Lahailah and an intervention by Dr. Al-Essani Bilal.
Partnership and cooperation agreements were signed between the university and the Directorate of Commerce, the National Grain Office, the Technical Landfill Center, and Brilex.
- The event was also an opportunity to appreciate the various successes and achievements that the University of Jijel has accomplished and continues to achieve.

The University of Mohamed Seddiq Ben Yahya Jijel was able to seize first place nationally in the 14th edition of the National Innovation Salon organized by the National Institute of Industrial Property (INAPI) and the Academy of the World Intellectual Property Organization, whose activities took place at the University of Constantine 3.
The project was registered through the Center for Technology and Innovation Support of the University of Jijel (CATI) in 2024 and was completed by a multidisciplinary work team
