Once registered, the student must start the other steps concerning his scholarship, his accommodation, his catering and his transport with the direction of the university works.
1. The scholarship :
The benefit of the grant is granted to the student for the duration of his studies. It is likely to be extended for one year in case of school delay.
Its amount (4050DA, 3600DA, 2700DA) depends on the amount of the parents' income, it is paid quarterly in the student’s current account.
2. Accommodation :
Accommodation possibilities depend on the capacity of the university residences. To be eligible, students must meet the following conditions:
- He must be enrolled at a higher education institution.
- Must be under 28
- He must be on a scholarship
- He must not engage in any activity as an employed person
- He must reside more than 50km from the chief place of the wilaya for boys and more than 30km for girls.
Applications for admission to a university institution shall be made in printed form.
3. Catering :
Whether internal or external, the student can enjoy a meal at the university restaurant for a symbolic ticket estimated at 1.40DA.
Admission cards to the university restaurant are drawn up at the level of the university cities.
The students have at their disposal 8 university restaurants open every day from 11.30am to 1.30pm and from 6.30pm to 8pm.
4. Transportation :
The Administration of University Works (ADOU) carries out the study of needs and proposes the breakdown of transport according to the needs expressed by the students. Pick-up points are based on the number of students using the different lines.
