The University of Jijel celebrates the 68th anniversary of student’s Day

A distinguished celebration was held by Tasost University Center this morning in commemoration of the 68th anniversary of Student Day, which falls on May 19 of each year.

- The university’s administrative team, which represented the university’s director, Professor Nour Edin ben Ali Acharif, who was in the capital to attend the meeting with the President of the Republic on the same occasion. The delegations were received by the university’s guests, headed by the governor of the state and the president of the state popular council, accompanied by the military and civil authorities and the revolutionary and media family.

The beginning was by placing a bouquet of mercy for the pure souls of the martyrs, then heading to  the Grand Lecture Hall, Jourfi Moubarak, where a diverse exhibition of the university and university services, the Directorate of Mujahidin and Rights Persons, the Directorate of Energy and Arts, the Directorate of Vocational Training, and the National Social Security Fund was visited.

- In the lecture hall, the audience listened to a welcome speech by Professor Nasr Edin Boujerda, Vice Rector of the University, on behalf of the University President, and the reading of the May 19 statement and the speech of the revolutionary family, followed by a national anthem for university residency students and a valuable intervention by Professor Dr. Al-Aissani Bilal.

The celebration, which was attended by a large number of students and members of the university family, was an opportunity to honor the members of the revolutionary family by the National Committee for Commemorating National Days and Holidays, and for the university and university services to present certificates of recognition, appreciation, and congratulations to student representatives in student organizations and scientific clubs, and to honor outstanding students in various cultural and sporting activities. .
