The Sahrawi Students Office studying at the University of Jijel organized an awareness day about the Sahrawi issue, which included an exhibition on Sahrawi heritage, speeches, video clips, and a presentation by Professor Bilal Laissani.
- The event was attended by the university president, Professor Nourredine Ben Ali El Cherif, his deputies, the university's secretary-general, the dean of the Faculty of Letters and Languages, and a group of professors and students.
- The activity also included speeches from Sahrawi and Mauritanian students, showcasing a beautiful interaction and a shared determination to cling to the land, freedom, and homeland.

The conclusion of the Fifth edition of the Grand Blood Donation Campaign achieved a new record by collecting 365 blood bags
- The campaign was hosted by the Tassoust University pole, initiated by Bachir Mentouri Hospital in El Milia, in coordination with Mohamed Sedik Ben Yahia University in Jijel, the University Services Directorate, and with the participation of the university's scientific clubs and numerous active associations in the fields of health and charitable work.
- The inauguration of the event was conducted by the administrative team of the organizing bodies, represented by the university in its educational and service aspects, as well as the healthcare institution. The conclusion of the event witnessed the distribution of tokens of appreciation and gratitude to all the participants in a joyful atmosphere.
- The university director, Professor Nourredine Ben Ali El Sharif, upon his return from his duties outside the state, paid a visit to the event hall, praising this noble charitable act.
- The multipurpose hall witnessed a wide turnout from students and members of the university community over two days, with hundreds responding to the initiative. A total of 365 donors who met the health requirements for donation were selected by the medical and paramedical staff of the hospital.

The Board of Directors of Jijel University convened under the chairmanship of Professor Ahmed Bouras, Director of Constantine 1 University, and in the presence of the Director of Jijel University, Professor Nourredine Ben Ali Cherif, and the board members, where the following were approved:
- Establishing a subsidiary called "University Business Accelerator" at Jijel University.
- Establishing a subsidiary called "Integrated Technological Systems Design and Installation Institute" at the University of Jijel.
- The project to establish a higher school for teachers in Jijel in several specializations as part of the expansion of the network of higher schools for teachers.

Professor Ben Ali Al-Sharif Nour El-Din, Director of the University of Jijel, along with his deputies, Prof. Dr. Riyad Ben Zayed and Prof. Dr. Nasreddine Boujarda, as well as members of the academic community, inspected the installation process of the virtual (three-dimensional) dissection table that has been put into service.
This advanced device is the latest of its kind in Algeria and is equipped with the latest version in this category (version 11.0.2), made in the United States of America.

The university board
Today, the Board of Directors of the University of Jijel convened under the chairmanship of Professor Ahmed Bouras, with the presence of the university president Nourredine Ben Ali Cherif and his team, as well as the elected members and representatives of the executive authority of the province.
The discussion revolved around the amendments to the 2024 budget and the draft budget for 2025.
